Wynn Resorts Names Grant Bowie President and General Manager of Wynn Macau

LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 5, 2003--Wynn Resorts, Limited (Nasdaq:WYNN) is pleased to announce that Grant Bowie has been hired as President and General Manager of Wynn Macau. Grant will be responsible for overseeing the development and operations of Wynn Resorts' planned casino resort in Macau. Grant brings to Wynn Macau extensive experience in casino management, acquired through managing properties such as Conrad Jupiters and Treasury Casinos in Australia.

"Grant's significant experience in managing gaming properties will further strengthen our management team in Macau and will help position Wynn Macau as the leading property in that market," said Stephen A. Wynn, Chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts.

Grant Bowie has been involved in the gaming industry for over 20 years and most recently, served as Senior Vice President of BI Gaming Corporation and as General Manager of Conrad Jupiters in Australia. His career in the gaming industry started in 1983 as a senior auditor for Arthur Andersen's gaming and hospitality group. In 1987, Grant joined Conrad Jupiters in Australia and from 1987 to 1993, worked as a senior manager in several areas of the organization. In 1993 he was appointed General Manager of Treasury Casino (Brisbane), and in 1998 was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of Conrad Jupiters (Gold Coast). Grant was born and educated in Dunedin, New Zealand, and graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Commerce.
